Marine Magnetics Synapse H-Grad is a synchronized horizontal transverse marine gradiometer developed for high-resolution UXO detection, pre-construction hazard clearance and offshore geophysical surveys. Its compact optically pumped rubidium sensors provide high-sensitivity magnetic measurements at sampling rates up to 20 Hz, supporting accurate detection and localization of buried or exposed ferrous objects. The system is suitable for cable and pipeline route clearance, dredging support, unexploded ordnance investigation, wreck and debris mapping, and subsea construction projects. Its modular, self-organizing network automatically synchronizes the connected sensors and combines their measurements into a single data stream, simplifying mobilization and survey operations. Synapse H-Grad is suitable for both nearshore and offshore use and is available for sale and demonstration through Kordil.
Easytrak Nexus 2 is an advanced, survey-grade USBL positioning and tracking system developed by Applied Acoustics for accurate and reliable positioning of dynamic subsea targets. The system calculates the position of underwater equipment by transmitting and receiving acoustic signals between its vessel-mounted transceiver and compatible subsea beacons. Nexus 2 uses bi-directional Sigma 2 spread-spectrum acoustic technology to reduce susceptibility to interference and improve positioning stability over extended operational ranges. It supports simultaneous tracking of up to 16 targets and offers geographical navigation overlays, optimised Multi-Fire beacon updates, data and event logging, replay functionality, telemetry options and EasyCal 2 calibration software. Applied Acoustics 1300 Series Micro Beacons are compact acoustic transponders designed for accurate USBL tracking of small towfish, inspection-class ROVs and AUVs, divers, side-scan sonars and other compact subsea targets. Their lightweight construction makes them particularly suitable for shallow-water operations and installations where mounting space is limited. Available configurations include integrated transducers, depth telemetry and remote transducer heads that can be positioned away from ROV thrusters and other acoustic-noise sources. Rechargeable batteries, USB configuration, external 24 V power and broad USBL compatibility provide flexible integration for underwater survey, inspection and positioning operations.
