LCSonar Systems

The Shark-S300D Dual-Frequency Side Scan Sonar is a professional sonar system designed for long-range seabed coverage and high-resolution imaging, operating with dual simultaneous frequencies of 300 kHz and 600 kHz using CW and LFM CHIRP transmission modes. With a narrow horizontal beamwidth of up to 0.2°, the system delivers high-contrast imagery and precise target definition, enabling reliable detection of small seabed objects. The sonar is housed in a rugged stainless-steel towfish equipped with integrated roll, pitch, heading, depth, and attitude sensors, as well as a built-in echosounder for accurate towfish height tracking. Supplied with OTech acquisition software, the system supports real-time display, navigation input, data recording and replay, and outputs standard XTF format data compatible with third-party processing software, while its low power consumption and AC/DC compatibility allow efficient single-operator survey operations.

The Shark-S75T Deep-Water Triple-Frequency Side Scan Sonar is a professional seabed imaging sonar engineered for ultra-deep-water and wide-area survey operations. Operating with 75 kHz, 225 kHz, and 750 kHz frequency combinations, the system supports both LFM (CHIRP) and CW transmission modes, enabling flexible trade-offs between maximum range and image resolution. With a maximum range of up to 600 m at 75 kHz and a narrow horizontal beamwidth of 0.2° at 750 kHz, the Shark-S75T delivers high-contrast, high-definition sonar imagery suitable for precise seabed characterization and small target detection. The system is housed in a 316L stainless-steel towfish rated to 2000 m water depth (expandable up to 6000 m) and integrates attitude, heading, pressure sensors, and a single-beam echosounder for accurate bottom tracking. Supplied with OTech sonar software, the system supports real-time mosaicking, live mapping, raw data output, SDK development, and standard XTF format compatibility for third-party processing.

The Shark-S600S Single-Frequency Side Scan Sonar is engineered for efficient, high-resolution seabed imaging in coastal, inland, and nearshore environments. Operating at 600 kHz, the system supports LFM (CHIRP) and CW pulse modes, achieving enhanced image clarity and reliable target detection with a maximum operating range of 120 m per side. The sonar features a compact towfish with adjustable downward transducer angles and a narrow horizontal beamwidth, enabling detailed seabed characterization. Designed for ultra-low power consumption, the system operates on standard AC power or battery inverter supply, making it ideal for mobile and emergency deployments. The integrated OTech software provides real-time mosaicking, live online mapping, survey planning, data recording, target management, and XTF format compatibility, ensuring seamless integration with third-party post-processing software.

The Shark-S450S Single-Frequency Side Scan Sonar is engineered for efficient, high-resolution seabed imaging in coastal, inland, and nearshore environments. Operating at 450 kHz, the system supports both LFM (CHIRP) and CW pulse modes, providing enhanced image clarity and reliable target detection with a maximum range of 150 m per side. The sonar features a compact towfish with a 0.3° horizontal beamwidth and adjustable downward transducer mounting angles, enabling accurate seabed characterization and small-object detection. Designed with ultra-low power consumption, the system can be powered via standard AC supply or inverter-based battery systems. The integrated OTech software delivers real-time mosaicking, live online mapping, survey navigation, data recording and playback, target management, and XTF/OTSS output formats, ensuring compatibility with third-party post-processing softwares.

The Shark-S457M Multibeam Side Scan Sonar is engineered for advanced seabed imaging applications requiring high resolution, wide swath coverage, and elevated survey speeds. Featuring 14 side scan beams and Dynamic Focusing Technology, the system delivers enhanced along-track resolution and improved target definition. It supports real-time switching between high-speed 450 kHz mode and low-speed dual-frequency 100/450 kHz mode, enabling flexible operation in turbid waters or during wide-area surveys. With a maximum range of 600 m per side at 100 kHz and operational speeds of up to 12 knots, the Shark-S457M significantly increases survey efficiency. The system integrates motion, depth, and echosounder sensors for accurate towfish tracking and is supplied with OTech software supporting real-time mosaicking, navigation, coverage monitoring, data recording, and XTF-compatible output for third-party processing.
