Kordil provides turnkey hydrographic, oceanographic, geological, geophysical and geodetic survey services for the offshore industry.
Our capabilities include multibeam and single-beam hydrographic surveys; CHIRP sub-bottom profiling and UHRS seismic surveys; side-scan sonar and marine magnetometer surveys; geological sampling, gravity coring and surface sediment sampling; and comprehensive oceanographic and meteorological measurements.
Kordil maintains ready-to-deploy equipment, specialised software, survey vessels and experienced personnel to deliver:
- Hydrographic and bathymetric surveys for navigation safety, coastal and offshore engineering, offshore construction, and oil and gas projects.
- Oceanographic and metocean measurements, including currents, waves, tides, meteorological conditions, discharge and the physical, chemical and biological characteristics of seawater and inland waters.
- Sub-bottom profiling and UHRS seismic surveys for pipelines, cable routes, ports, harbours, offshore platforms and subsea installations.
- Route, debris and pre-construction clearance surveys using magnetometers, side-scan sonars, multibeam echosounders, backscatter and water-column data.

- Marine archaeological investigations using magnetometers, sub-bottom profilers, side-scan sonars and multibeam echosounders.
- Geological sampling and coring, including gravity coring and surface sediment sampling.
