Shark-S75T Deep Water Side Scan Sonar

The Shark-S75T Deep-Water Triple-Frequency Side Scan Sonar is a high-performance seabed imaging system specifically engineered for ultra-deep-water and wide-area survey operations. Operating with triple-frequency combinations of 75 kHz, 225 kHz, and 750 kHz, the system supports both LFM (CHIRP) and CW transmission modes, allowing users to optimize survey performance for long-range coverage or ultra-high-resolution imaging. The low-frequency channel enables extended swath coverage up to 600 m, while the higher frequencies provide enhanced image sharpness and precise target definition with a narrow horizontal beamwidth of up to 0.2°.
The sonar is integrated into a high-pressure-resistant 316L stainless-steel towfish, rated for 2000 m water depth and customizable up to 6000 m, making it suitable for demanding offshore environments. The towfish incorporates a built-in single-beam echosounder for accurate bottom tracking, along with attitude, heading, and pressure sensors to ensure stable operation and consistent data quality. Supplied with proprietary OTech sonar software, the Shark-S75T supports real-time mosaicking, live online mapping, survey planning, data recording and playback, target management, continuous raw data output, and standard XTF format compatibility with third-party processing software. Optional SDK support enables advanced integrations such as AI-based automatic target recognition and custom data workflows.
