The Shark-S600S High-Resolution Single-Frequency Side Scan Sonar is a compact, lightweight, and portable seabed imaging system designed for shallow to mid-water survey applications requiring high image clarity and ultra-low power consumption. Operating at 600 kHz with support for LFM (CHIRP) and Continuous Wave (CW) transmission, the system delivers high-contrast sonar imagery with a maximum range of 120 m per side. Its narrow horizontal beamwidth ensures precise target definition, while optimized hydrodynamic towfish design provides stable and reliable towing performance. The system supports single-operator deployment and multiple installation methods, including towed, hull-mounted, and side-mounted configurations. Supplied with proprietary OTech sonar software, the Shark-S600S enables real-time mosaicking, live mapping, data recording and playback, and standard XTF output for third-party processing, making it an efficient and cost-effective solution for rapid response and routine survey operations.
