Applied Acoustics accessories and software complete the link between subsea instruments, vessel equipment and the survey operator. A practical system requires more than a transceiver or beacon: suitable configuration tools, power supplies, cables, telemetry equipment and software help prepare equipment for deployment and bring measurements into the survey workflow. PAM 3515 configuration and testing
The PAM 3515 is a portable tool for multi-transponder configuration and testing, on-deck release-beacon operations and acoustic telemetry. It supports preparation and checks before equipment enters the water, alongside command functions for compatible subsea units. The supplied distributor material shows the PAM unit and its associated deck equipment.
Beacon chargers and installation components
Compatible charging and testing equipment should be selected for the beacon model and battery arrangement. Installation planning also includes the correct transducer or transceiver cable, connectors, mounting arrangement and spares. A charger or cable should not be treated as interchangeable across the full beacon range without checking its specification.
Easytrak positioning software
Easytrak systems combine acoustic hardware with operator software for tracking and displaying subsea targets. Functions vary by system. The existing Nexus 2 and Pyxis configurations include survey overlays, data and event logging, replay and integration with external navigation equipment. EasyCal 2 provides calibration support for applicable installations. Vesta software is supplied as part of the compact Vesta positioning solution.
MiniPod telemetry and geophysical equipment
MiniPod receiver, antenna and power options connect surface GNSS positioning to the survey installation. For geophysical work, the supplied range includes streamer reels, hydrophones and high-voltage slip rings alongside HydraSeis acquisition and processing equipment. These components are selected around the source, streamer and vessel layout rather than as isolated accessories.
Compatibility and mobilisation
Before ordering accessories, identify the equipment model, connector arrangement, required cable length, software version and intended power source. Kordil can help review the proposed configuration and the interfaces needed by the survey team. This avoids unnecessary duplication and makes the equipment package easier to prepare and support.

The supplied 3102 transducer is intended for deck testing and must not be submerged. The optional 3190 provides the underwater interface for ranging, relocation, release commands and telemetry. This distinction helps select the correct accessories for pre-deployment checks versus recovery operations. The portable unit supports compatible Applied Acoustics positioning and release beacons; confirm the beacon protocol and required transducer when preparing a survey package.
