Kordil KD300 specially designed and manufactured for subsea surveying and mapping projects. The system is the mechanism that controls the deployment and recovery of the side scan sonar towfish. It typically consists of a motor-driven winch connected to a cable or tow line, which allows the sensor to be lowered to the desired depth and towed at a consistent distance from the seafloor. The winch system also enables precise control over the speed and direction of the towfish, ensuring accurate data collection.
