DeepView is Deep Vision’s modular software environment for sonar control, georeferenced recording and review. The Side Scan module brings waterfall imagery, map mosaics and target marking into a single survey workflow.

Modules and processing
DeepView PRO adds post-processing, georeferenced exports and marker reports to the base software. Depth/Downscan and Survey Planning are separate capabilities: with the relevant modules, workflows can include depth comparisons, volume calculations, 3D views and survey-line export. Select the module combination for the required deliverables.

Organising a survey project
Keep raw sonar recordings, navigation information and interpretation notes together in a clearly named project. During review, compare neighbouring survey lines and check that target markers can be traced back to the original recording. Record the settings used for processing and export so another team member can reproduce the result. Before purchasing modules, identify the required output formats and confirm which functions are included in the proposed licence.
