Synapse Horizontal Transverse Gradiometer

Integrated INS Shallow Water Mapping/Imaging System

Synapse-H Gradiometer

Synapse-H Horizontal Transverse Gradiometer is an advanced marine magnetic survey system engineered for high-resolution detection of ferrous subsea targets and magnetic anomalies. Designed for demanding offshore and nearshore operations, the system combines multiple synchronized overhauser magnetometer sensors within a stable transverse array configuration to provide accurate magnetic gradient measurements with excellent sensitivity and low operational noise. Dual sensor configuration significantly improves target localization capability and anomaly interpretation compared to single-sensor magnetometer systems. By measuring magnetic gradients across multiple sensors simultaneously, the system enhances detection of buried objects while reducing environmental and geological noise effects.

The Synapse-H system is highly suitable for offshore UXO investigations, subsea cable and pipeline route surveys, dredging support, harbor investigations, marine archaeology, and offshore construction projects requiring accurate magnetic anomaly detection and positioning.
