Obscape’s Flow Gauge delivers real-time surface flow velocity measurements using advanced Doppler shift radar technology. Installed above the water surface, it ensures easy deployment and requires minimal maintenance. Designed for both natural and engineered waterways, it is ideally suited for monitoring river flow, outfall discharge, and open channel runoff.

By utilizing pulse wave radar, the Flow Gauge captures surface flow velocity without making contact with the water. This non-contact design eliminates the risk of biofouling and minimizes maintenance, while also preventing damage from sediments, floating debris, or driftwood. Its reliability makes it especially valuable during flood events. Accurate velocity data supports a range of applications including environmental monitoring, discharge calculations, riverbed protection, and sediment transport analysis.
